For this blog I took a lot into consideration. SO many movies and shows that pertain to the holidays. I was able to narrow it down to my top 2 :)

For the comedy...of course.....HOME ALONE. (OBVIOUSLY) This movie will be a classic until the day I die. Such a cute and fun family movie. One that will be watched over and over for years to come.

And for the sweet love, comedy, tear jerker.....THE HOLIDAY. Cameron Diaz is always someone that can make me laugh, and Jude Law...well hes beautiful. I cry everytime I watch this. It is such a sweet movie!!!

I am a Christmas FREAK. One year for my apartment, I literally put up my tree the day after Halloween (a little much I know) I love the Reds and the Silvers, I never usually do green, I think that is a little to cliche. I would put wrapping paper in a picture frame and hang it on the wall. I love lighting cinnamon and pine tree candles. And of course LIGHTS!!!

Christmas Eve and Stuffing

Day 2 of Amber and Neelys Holiday Blog Challenge.
The challenge today is to write about your fave tradition, new or old :)

I always remember growing up how every Christmas eve all the kids would take part in making the stuffing for the next day. We each had our own roll :) From tearing apart the bread, cutting up the celery, bell pepper, onions and all that other good stuff. We would all sit around the dinner table and talk about memories from the past year.

Diet Time

Now, I know this is going to be a dumb time of the year to start, but it needs to happen.

Beginning December 2nd, I will be blogging about my diet, weight loss and keep track of the food I'm eating, including pics. I will post pics of myself and the food and recipes in case someone wants to try it out. I am determined to be back to my old self before I had my baby. So follow along and enjoy.

Fave gift received for Christmas

Hello all :) I am linking up to Amber and Neelys Holiday Blog Challenge :) Day 1, Favorite gift received for Christmas....


I would have to say, my most favorite gift I ever got was an acoustic guitar that my parents bought me last year. It was so freakin sweet. The year before that I had a new years goal of teaching myself how to play the guitar, a month later I found out I was pregnant. Of course, my finances changed and I couldnt just go out and buy one for myself. I was really wanting to learn to play so I can write music. My parents, being the sweet people that they are, went out and bought me that guitar. I cried, and that is a Christmas I will never forget :)

Thanksgiving Recap

Happy belated Thanksgiving!

So my Baby Liv went to her daddys for Thanksgiving this year. I figured since we werent really going to have a Thanksgiving, then she should go to her dads. I missed her like crazy but I still had a wonderful day. I spent the day with my wonderful second family. Amber, Casey, Gram Gram and Pop Pop. The food was freakishly good even though poor Gram Gram started cussing up a storm because the gravy wouldnt thicken up and Amber messed it up by pouring corn starch in it. Thats when the alcohol came out :) The night was filled with drinks, food and laughter.

.....to laugh until you cry about something dumb you said to your friend the day before

.....to sit around in your pjs all day and watch Greys Anatomy seasons on DVD

.....to use the same towel twice

....to be addicted to a certain website

.....to want to make everything you own

.....to take off your bra as soon as you get in the car after work

.....to drink an ice cold beer in the middle of the night when your parched, its the only thing cold

.....to sanitze your phone when someone else uses it 

.....to plan out what you would do with your money if you won the lottery
